This intensive one and a half day workshop has always been a feature part of the Symposium.  There is no denying that IMBA Canada is a champion of sustainable trail building.  The organization has helped countless communities across the country learn about proper trail building techniques and stewardship since 2004.

The workshop starts at 9am on Tuesday, October 1st with a morning classroom session at Legends in Whistler’s Creekside Village followed by hands-on trail work on High Side Trail off the Cheakamus Lake Road.  This is a great chance to learn about modern trail building techniques and to also give something back to the trails of our host community.

The workshop is available to anyone registered for the Full Symposium.  There is no additional fee for the workshop, however we ask that you please indicate your interest when you register online.

Note: If you are interested, but not sure if you checked that box when you registered, please contact martin@mbta.ca to confirm.
